Few can be said to have been more influential in forging cooperation and building bridges in the relationship than Prince Turki Al-Faisal. He is currently Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies and is one of the founders of the King Faisal Foundation, the namesake of which was his father. His distinguished career in service of his country included 24 years as Director General of the Intelligence Directorate, the Kingdom’s principal foreign intelligence service; as Ambassador to the United Kingdom; and as Ambassador to the United States. Since leaving public service he has been extremely active as a voice for the Kingdom.
