Broken pipeline sees desalination plant’s output halved
"Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) has revealed that output at Jubail Water Desalination Station has halved after one of the plant's main pipelines broke. Contractors have started underground excavation work to repair the broken pipeline as soon as possible, according to SWCC's statement. Maintenance teams will continue to work around the clock to fix the problem which will take a minimum of three days, with the station expected to return to full operation in five days."
